Young's Orchard

Just got our basket and heading out to the strawberry field. Young's Orchard is near Charlie, Texas (about an hour and a half drive for us).

Charles got into picking strawberries right away, but of course, his Doc and Lightning McQueen cars had to help too!

He put the first few in the basket like I showed him, but once he tasted one he was chowing down! He loved the strawberries and I had to be careful he didn't eat too much sand or green stems!

On the way back now after our basket was overflowing. Charles wasn't ready to go yet lol :)

I'm actually holding the bag of strawberries and Charles is holding his bucket. I couldn't let him have the strawberries because he still wanted to eat some but was too full. So he was taking one bite then throwing the strawberry on the ground. You can see the strawberry stains around his mouth :)

Spring time

The new dog, Boo. Charles loves her except she is still trying to chew on him all the time! Raddy loves having a play mate.

Helping Mama put together her new vacuum. Apparently I forgot to put a bag in the old one and ran it like that for I don't know how long. So one day it died then I did the autopsy to find no bag. New model doesn't take a bag!

Nana and Papaw got a swing set in their back yard. Charles had to have Mimey (Mickey) to help him out.

The slide is a lot of fun! He says "Wee!"

Easter 2010

Charles had one room all to himself. He didn't care about putting the eggs in his basket. He just wanted to open them up to see what was inside and then move to the next egg.

Spring Break Fun

Finger-painting is always fun for Charles. He enjoys mixing the colors and squishing the sponge in his hands. This picture was taken before the paint was all over his face!

Nana bought a stroller/tricycle. Charles rode in it for the first time today and he enjoyed it. It was a little windy so we only went around the block once.

Charles got a sand box this week. It has a table and umbrella too! He thinks it is so much fun but he still won't get inside yet.
